What is Healingvrse

HealingVrse is a peer support marketplace. It connects people who are navigating health, mental health, or life challenges with guides — individuals who have lived through similar experiences and are willing to share what helped them.

HealingVrse is not a medical service, therapy practice, or clinical care platform. Nothing on this platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Who guides are

Guides on HealingVrse are peers — real people sharing their own lived experience. They are not licensed therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, medical doctors, or any other kind of licensed healthcare provider, unless explicitly stated in their profile.

By booking a guide, you acknowledge that:

• You are seeking peer support, not professional clinical care

• Guides speak from personal experience only and cannot diagnose, prescribe, or treat

• Conversations with guides do not form a therapist-patient or doctor-patient relationship

• The guide’s experiences may not apply to your situation

What you are buying

When you purchase a service on HealingVrse, you are buying access to a peer’s time and experience. Specifically:

• 3 Questions (Taster): One email with up to 3 questions, one written response within 48 hours.

• 1 Day of Support: Async messaging via WhatsApp for 24 hours from the guide’s first reply.

• 3 Days of Support: Async messaging via WhatsApp for 3 days from the guide’s first reply.

Response quality and personal fit are not guaranteed. HealingVrse does not guarantee any specific outcomes from peer support conversations.

Refund policy

Because guides invest time preparing and responding, all sales are final once a guide has responded to your first message or email.

If a guide fails to respond within the agreed timeframe (48 hours for taster, 24 hours per message for 1 Day and 3 Days), contact us at friends@healingvrse.com and we will issue a full refund.

If you are unsatisfied for any other reason, please contact us and we will do our best to make it right.

Crisis situations

HealingVrse is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or are in danger, please contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately.

• Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US)

• Text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line, US)

• Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room

Guides are instructed to direct users to crisis resources if they believe someone is in danger. However, guides are not trained crisis counselors and cannot guarantee they will recognize or appropriately respond to every crisis situation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HealingVrse and its operators are not liable for:

• Any harm, loss, or damages arising from peer support conversations

• A guide’s advice, recommendations, or omissions

• Your decisions made based on anything shared by a guide

• Any technical failures, delays, or errors on the platform

Our total liability to you for any claim related to your use of HealingVrse is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Your responsibilities

By using HealingVrse, you agree to:

• Be at least 18 years of age

• Use the platform for lawful purposes only

• Treat guides with respect — abusive, harassing, or threatening messages are grounds for immediate termination of your access without refund

• Not share, screenshot, or publish private conversations with guides without their written consent

• Understand that peer support is a complement to, not a replacement for, professional care

Privacy

We collect only what’s needed to operate the platform. Payment is processed by Stripe — HealingVrse does not store your payment details. Conversations between you and guides happen via email or WhatsApp and are not monitored by HealingVrse.

We will not sell your personal information to third parties.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of HealingVrse after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
